The Studio Roof Repair is Finished!

Hello North Fork Studio Friends and Neighbors,

We wanted to give you the final update on the repair of the roof at The Studio.

Dustin from Diligent Roofing in Raymond has completed the job. he said that the work went well and he put in over 500 self sealing screws throughout the whole roof. he sealed a bunch of old holes and got the ridge down tight. the roof should not leak and he is guaranteeing his work for 5 years! he also trimmed back the pine tree on the front side of the building, to keep it from hitting the roof.

THANK YOU SO MUCH to all of you who kept the ball rolling to support this much needed work!

$925 has been raised towards the goal of $1000!

Studio update

The Studio has been closed since the beginning of the pandemic. We are planning some online events to bring the community together in some fun and creative ways. Stay tuned!!

Valentine’s Day Dinner/Dance (7th Annual!) – POSTPONED!!

Due to the predicted weather for the end of this week, we are rescheduling the Valentine’s Dinner/Dance. We are sorry for this. We know that you look forward to this fun event every February.

It was difficult to find another weekend date that did not conflict with another important North Fork event. So… we decided to merge our event with the wonderful Squirrel Cage Theater Spring Fling on April 27! The ticket proceeds will be divided equally between Squirrel Cage Theater and the Studio. Both organizations do important work to benefit our community! The event will still include a delicious dinner, great music and community togetherness!

Of course, anyone wanting a refund for your tickets can get one. But we hope that you will opt to support the Studio (and Squirrel Cage Theater) by keeping your tickets and coming to the Spring Fling! If you would like a refund, please contact us: donate@nfstudio.org.

Please spread the word and help make the event successful!

The Studio’s annual Valentine’s Day Dinner is one of most fun events of the year in North Fork! Enjoy a delicious dinner catered by Willow Creek Catering and live music performed by some of North Fork’s finest musicians! Bring that special someone or come on your own!

Sound Immersions • Soothing Sounds JAN. 6th

 Sound Immersions   Soothing Sounds

These are group sound healing sessions designed to create a sacred space where you can dive down into yourself and allow the vibrations and rhythms of the instruments to assist you to break up stress and tension in your body.

Humans are about 70% water, I invite the many fluids (blood, lymph, cerebro- spinal fluids, water) of your body to immerse you in sound and vibration. This can create peaceful waves of clarity  that begin to flow  through your organs and every cell of your body.

The healing instruments I use are my voice, crystal and Tibetan bowls, gong, and various kinds of percussion.

Please bring a mat, towel or blanket to lay on or wrap around you (if you prefer to sit up). These sessions are on land, the dive you take is into yourself.

Donations  Accepted.
